HYT H1 – First Timepiece To Combine Mechanical and Liquid Engineering

The HYT H1 Hydro Mechanical Watch is scheduled to debut at the 2012 Baselworld Watch Fair in Switzerland. This watch has generated a lot of hype in the horology community because of its liquid engineering technology which has never been used in a time piece before. Pistons in its bellows compress and decompress, moving the Flruoescein liquid in the module, in turn moving the mechanisms within the titanium casing. The watch also features an unstructured, silver-toned opaline dial as well as a hand-sewn leather-lined canvas strap. The price is speculated to begin at $45,000 USD.
